Anthea Harrison
Member of the Investment Advisory Committee
MMCLondon Fund

Anthea Harrison started her career in Corporate Finance with Charterhouse Bank where she worked on a range of quoted company transactions including IPOs and takeovers.  She left to join Lloyds Development Capital (“LDC”), of which she became a Director.  During her time at LDC she completed twenty investments with a total value of £500m and sat on ten boards as a non-executive director. 

On leaving LDC Anthea joined Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, where she worked with young companies in Eastern Europe and South America and then went on to have responsibility for a £300m portfolio of unquoted technology investments.

Most recently Anthea was Investment Director at The National Endowment for Science, Technology and Arts (“NESTA”), a government fund investing in early stage technology companies in the UK. Here she had overall responsibilities for the portfolio as well as making new investments.  

After leaving NESTA, Anthea became a member of the Investment Advisory Panel of two European Regional Development Funds, one based in North West England ( North West Business Fund”) and the other in London (“MMC London Fund”).  These funds have invested in start-ups and early stage companies.


Jani Mäntyjärvi
Principal Scientist

Dr. Jani Mäntyjärvi (Principal Scientist) is leading the research on Wellness and Smart living-topics in Data-Driven Solutions research-area at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He has published around 100 research publications, he holds 30 patents, and he has co-founded two companies (,

He is also an adjunct associate professor in the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in the University of Oulu. Mäntyjärvi holds M.Sc. degree in biophysics, Ph.D. degree in information processing and eMBA from the University of Oulu, Finland.


Tove Okunniwa
London Sport

Chief Executive of London Sport since September 2017, Tove Okunniwa previously served as Chief Executive of Havas Sport & Entertainment, Managing Director of MEC Access, and Head of Marketing for BBC Sport.

Tove is a passionate advocate for diversity and equality, and firmly believes in the opportunities that physical activity and sport present for improving the health and wellbeing of Londoners and of the capital itself.


Ollie Phillips
Director – Digital Transformation

Ollie Phillips has played professional rugby for 14 years, and have enjoyed a rewarding career playing for club and country, including being voted as the Best Seven’s Player in the World in 2009 by World Rugby. His rugby career has included three Seven’s World Cup tournaments including Hong Kong, Moscow and Dubai, and he has been a captain of the national team between 2008 and 2010. He has also played two years in France and learnt to speak fluent French.

Following an injury in 2013, he accepted the opportunity to sail around the world on the GREAT Britain yacht as part of the Clipper Round the World Race. By turning this negative into a positive, he took on a fresh challenge and learned new skills in a different team dynamic, while seeking to raise £10,000 for Wooden Spoon. His adventuring spirit took him to the North Pole in April 2015 as he joined the ‘Arctic Rugby Challenge’ in aid of the charity. He is also committed to his role as an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, a worthy charity that is close to his heart.

Adventure, an entrepreneurial spirit and friendly persona are his driving forces for his post-rugby career. He values his broadcasting experience with Eurosport and Sky Sports as well as the opportunities to consult for and share his experiences with a variety of businesses, including PwC, Lloyds, Mayer Brown and Schlumberger.


Nathalie Sonne
Head of Program
leAD Sports Accelerator

After a brief trip into the agency world, Nathalie Sonne soon immersed herself in the founders’ scene to live her passion for fast-paced environments and strategy in unfamiliar terrain. She has worked for startups both in the U.S. and Germany, seen all kinds of different setups and experienced pretty many of those notorious ups and downs. At the same time, she’s designed and realized several innovation formats with ignore gravity, a Berlin-based consultancy focused on transformation processes. As Head of Program at leAD Sports Accelerator, she gets to combine her personal interest in sports with this diverse experience and leverage it – to help promising early sports startups grow and succeed. 


Marko Yrjövuori
Healthy Boss

Marko Yrjövuori brings over 20 years of experience from Professional Sports Field. As a Wellness and Sports Medicine professional Marko has worked with the highest level athletes and teams in the world. He was member of the NHL team Los Angeles Kings medical staff (Athletic trainer and Sports Therapist 2000-2003). Marko was a member of the NBA team Los Angeles Lakers training staff. (Athletic trainer and head Sports Therapist (2003-2016)

He serves as a Head Medical trainer for the Finnish National Basketball team. Marko is an lecturer at Olympic Training Center Kuortane Finland and Performance Specialist at Olympic recearch Center Kisakallio in Finland.

Currently he is Director of business development for Hospital Neo Physical therapy and Director of coaching at Neo Performance. Marko is a owner of a Performance training company MYC-Training and performance gym Elite Trainers in Helsinki Finland and a co-creator of Healthy Boss corporate wellness program.
